Bed of Roses (Jurorís Award, Ashes to Art 2006)

Bed of Roses by Alison Counsell for FUNERIAģ

Stainless steel, so cool to the touch, is transformed by a skilled metalsmith into a thoroughly modern memorial for people or their beloved animals that is imbued with charm and grace. In Counsellís Bed of Roses small urn, which earned the Jurorís Choice Award at FUNERIAís 3rd international Ashes to Art exhibition in Philadelphia, PA, 2006, her roses will remain fresh and proud and reflective in both sun and moonlight when all others in the garden have faded away.

We've recently completed a uniquely beautiful and delightful special commission for our Bed of Roses that we're also happy to share with other clients who have loved their pets as much as Chloe, the dachshund, was loved by her mistress. So, we now offer customized plaques that stand upright in the midst of the roses, can be made in the profile of your cherished animal, and etched with its name or an endearment. We're happy to answer all inquiries for pricing and details on specially commissioned work.
